Since 2022, I have been working on the translation, localisation and linguistic quality assurance of wine and spirit education material, including reference books, study materials and exam papers.

Consistency is at the heart of this project. Terminology must be used the same way across all materials, from the reference books a student studies to the exam paper they sit. Any inconsistency between the two undermines the learning experience and the credibility of the qualification itself. During LQA, I carry out thorough comparative checks against the source material to make sure the content is accurate and consistent and to confirm that everything aligns seamlessly across different training materials.
